Ripley Lighting Controls has been a leader in the photocontrol industry for over 70 years. Ripley Lighting Controls and parent company SouthConn Technologies take pride in quality standards that meet or exceed industry standards in all of their product lines. Ripley Lighting Controls continuously brings innovation to the photocontrol industry, such as the Ripley PhotoClock®.

Buidling upon this history, Ripley's innovative Zero Cross Switching (ZCS) protects against high inrush currents particularly found in LED luminaries. By tracking the AC line voltage, this microprocessor controlled technology switches the luminaire at the most optimal time. This switching point is calculated to minimize inrush current helping to soft start lighting electronics and provide extended life and reliably to the photocontrol circuitry.
